Summary of Centsports
Centsports may not be an extremely popular website in comparison to sites like facebook and myspace. However it offers its own unique form of a cyber comunity. Since it was founded its user base has been steadily growing without much advertisement for the site. Like any cyber community it has its faults which will be questioned. As we discused in class there is no age limit for centsports and thus it could potentially lead young children to gamble. However I believe this risk is minimal because since the site doesnt advertise the number of young children who even know about the site is extremely low. Besides the majority of young children are not going to be interested in the site if they were to come across it. I also believe that the site does more good than bad because it allows people who would be gambling for large money to get there fix at no risk. This is why I believe centsports is an all around good site that is both fun and safe.

I agree that Centsports has its risks, but I think that it has more benefits than risks. The average young person does not have an overwhelming desire to go gamble. To be honest, young kids are more interested in playing games on the computer and talking with their friends. In addition, the fact that the site doesn’t advertise really helps with the amount of young people using the site. Honestly I did not hear about the site until it was mentioned in class. Also, the type of kids who would go out and gamble will do it no matter whether or not there is a site like this one. I agree that this site is very good for people to safely gamble. I would even go so far as to recommend using this site if you have a risky side to you. As for the advertisements on the site, I think that it’s smart for the people advertising. Because of the incentive of extra cash, users actually want to watch them.
Centsports seems to be a great site. I agree with Erik; it's a great way for people to get their gambling fix out without any risks involved. I don't think that it will have much of a negative effect on children. The site also has a great method of enticing their users to get extra cash by viewing advertisements; this benefits both the user and the sites owners. Overall I think it looks like a really entertaining site.
I think Centsports was a great idea. It allows people to enjoy gambling without risking actual money. However, I do believe there should be an age limit. Children shouldn't be gambling before they can fully understand its risks. Besides, companies aren't gearing their ads toward children anyway so Centsports shouldn't lose any revenue.
Centsports sounds like a really entertaining website. It is a safe and easy way to gamble and without having all the risks that makes gambling so bad. However, I also see how it could have a negative impact on the youth that join this site because it could potentially show them that there is nothing wrong with gambling. Therefore, I agree with Johnathan that there should be an age limit for joining the site. Truthfully, I would use this site, I never gamble because I hate losing money, but if I don't lose anything here then, why not?
I agree with most of you on that Centsports is an entertaining site. I think its an attractive way to gamble especially when you can barely loose. I don't think that this type of gambling would lead young children to gamble in the future.
I've never heard about Centsports but it seems like a really cool website. I never gambled because I'm always afraid I'm going to lose. This website gives you money to play, so you are never losing your own money. I believe this website is really helpful for people that are addicted to gambling. Some people gamble everything they have. This website will let them gamble but not lose everything they have.
I think that centsports is a safe way to have fun gambling while at the same time a good ground for sport fans. I don't think that it encourages people to become gambling addicts, it is just for fun. The idea behind centsports was a site for sport fans to take the game to a next level and make money off of it, which has been done through the use of advertising.

Centsports is a really fun side, i just signed up to try it out. The interesting thing is i can bet and win money without having to take money out of my packet. This game can be useful to keep gamblers from gaming in real life and lose real money. The only things that annoys me is the ads that i have to click in order to play the game.
